BRISTOL & West AC team manager Cy Knibb is hoping that the success of the recent Olympics will inspire the club’s athletes as they approach the fourth and final British Men’s League Division Four fixture tomorrow.
The club go into the match in top position and while promotion I all but confirmed Knibb is determined to go up as champions.
“The team is strong enough to win the final match and not only be promoted to National 3 for 2013 and crowned the Division 4 champions but will also be the only team, out of 38, in the whole of the British Athletics League, to remain unbeaten in 2012,” said Knibb.
In contrast Exeter Harriers’ relegation from Division Two will be confirmed today while in Division Three Yeovil Olympiads must beat Swansea Harriers on their home patch by a good margin if they are to stay up.
