CONGRATULATIONS to Paul Nightingale for winning our competition to predict the finishing position of Claire Hallissey in yesterday’s marathon.
Nightingale predicted that the Bristol & West AC runner would finish 63rd – and was just six places out as she came home in 57th. For the record Nightingale reckoned she would run the distance in 2hrs 27mins 16secs.
Hallissey actually took 2:35.39. Had she run 2:27.16 that would have placed Hallissey 16th.
Nightingale wins a pair of Mizuno shoes for winning the competition.
