KATE Reed continued her comeback with an encouraging performance in the Boston 10k road race on Sunday. The Bristol & West AC Olympian from Clevedon finished eighth overall and first European in a time of 34mins 18secs. The race was won by Kim Smith in a new courses record time of 31:36.
Reed’s time was five seconds quicker than the time she ran in the New York Mini 10k at the start of the month.
