ANYONE looking for a fast 5k could do worse than enter the latest race Bridge Inn series, in east Bristol, on Tuesday (7.30pm) with entries taken on the night only (www.bristolandwestac.org).
The event incorporates the Avon AA mob match with 20 to count. Host club Bristol & West AC are currently holders of the Andrew Rawnsley Memorial Trophy and will be looking to retain the trophy named in honour of one of its most popular athletes who died tragically young.
As usual the registration is from 6.30pm with the race start at 7.30pm. A reminder that the race HQ is the Pomphrey Hill Community Sports Centre, BS16 9NF complete with changing rooms and bar. The Centre is about 500m from the race start.
